ซัด

v. to entangle another, to involve, to implicate (as an accomplice), to splash water or waves against, to scatter, to throw or dash, to wash against (as waves);

n. a fruit used as a dye giving fragrance to the cloth.

คลื่นซัดเรือ- the waves are dashing against the boat;

ซัดกัน- to shift on to others responsibility for some deed performed; ซัดเซ- to wander about with no regular abiding place, to roam aimlessly; ซัดทอด- to blame, to refer to (implying blame or censure), to pass the blame on to another.

เรือถูกคลื่นซัดไปกระทบหิน The ship was cast by the waves against the rocks.

เขาซัดเซไปโดยไม่มีที่หมาย He wandered about aimlessly. จำเลยซัดทอดถึงบุคคลสำคัญหลายคน The accused implicated a number of important personages.
